"Strategic Management

is more than a theory that can’t and shouldn’t be defined by time "

RALF WILHELMS, DBA

Creativity, ingenuity, and originality

I think that new ways to do things is a crucial part of who I am. I am never content with doing something the conventional way if a better way is possible.

Curiosity and interest in the world

I am curious about everything. I am always asking questions, and I find all subjects and topics fascinating.

Honesty, authenticity, and genuineness

I am an honest person, not only by speaking the truth but by living my life in a genuine and authentic way. I am down to earth and without pretense; I am a "real" person.

The MSU EDA University Center for Regional Economic Innovation presents our
2013 Webinar Series - Eastern U.P. Exports with Ralf Wilhelms, D.B.A., Associate Professor, Lake Superior State University. Ralf Wilhelms is a highly experienced senior business analyst and entrepreneur.

For the past 3 years, I have collaborated with researchers in the US and Asia to develop a practical and inclusive model for strategic management. The model reflects and recognizes the environmental dynamics and departmental interactions to create responsive business models in today’s turbulent markets. The work was published in a dual language book (English/Mandarin) in China at the beginning of 2016. One of my professional goals is to expand the conceptual framework and expand into other geographic regions. Thank you to co-author Professor Shengxiao Li for his inspiration and contributions to the book.
